DESCRIPTION:
Ringön is difficult to access by public transport, which negatively affects the flow of visitors. Bus 47 runs across Ringögatan, but requires a change at Hjalmar Brantingtorget, which means detours for travellers from central Gothenburg. In addition, the bus stops at Ringögatan, a bit from Järnmalmsgatan where most public activities are located.
Cycling works well, but the rental bike system Styr & Set has a stop on Ringögatan at a defunct business, which is impractical. A new stop at Järnmalmsgatan has therefore been discussed within the project.
The limitations of public transport have led to creative solutions, such as the companies' own buses, which have proved successful when tested. Today it is easiest to take the tram to Frihamn and walk 10—15 minutes to your destination. These barriers need to be resolved in order to make Ringön more accessible and attractive.

DESCRIPTION:
The bus stop for Ringöbuss is located at Ringövarvet/Ivans Pilsnerbar. It is built with standard scaffolding from Tekniska Byggscaffolding and covered by reused sails from Ringövarvet.
A sign at the stop informs about the specifications of the sail. If someone wants to buy a sail, it can easily be taken down and replaced with a new one from the shipyard. The solution is both practical and rooted in the local resources.

Description:
Monument031's outdoor seating area has been given a new layout and delineation, created from recycled plastic boxes and rebar. The design also includes a stop for the Ringö bus.
The design is the result of a workshop with Monument031, where we jointly developed the design based on early sketches.

In 2026, the iconic M29 tram model is to be taken out of service for good. In tribute to this, we let a tram act as an art gallery on Ringön. First, various exhibitions are created by the artists in the area. As the completion date for the M29 approaches, the same exhibits are recreated, but on the trams that travel all over Gothenburg before they are taken out of service for good.
